Terms and conditions of Buttercup Cattery
Buttercup Boarding Cattery is a licensed boarding establishment. Your pet will receive regular, individual attention several times a day and your cats comfort and well being will be priority. It is a condition of the licence that all cats boarded with the Cattery are vaccinated and that the annual booster is up to date. You will need to bring your vaccination certificate with you when you bring your cat to stay - this is very important as without it they will not be able to stay. Please note if your cat is found to have fleas during their stay, there's an additional charge for flea treatment and to cover the additional cost of treating bedding, toys etc. so please ensure your cat is up to date with flea and worming before boarding.
Cats sharing must be from the same household
All reasonable efforts will be made to administer oral medication or to apply external treatments as directed of which there is no charge to the owner.
A cat that appears to be unwell at the time of arrival may be refused admission. No liability will be accepted by Buttercup Cattery for disruption to your travel plans caused by such an event. Please seek advice from your own vet in advance of your booking if you have any concerns about your cat’s health.
Please bring your cat in a secure carrier and this can be left at the cattery until departure. We will not be held responsible if a cat escapes due to faulty carriers.
Cancellations and emergencies
We appreciate that life doesn't always go to plan and occasionally you may need to cancel or postpone your booking. All we ask, is that you let us have as much notice as possible.
In cases of emergency or illness, we will always try to contact your own vet first. This may not always be possible in this case our registered vet will be used. Any costs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner.
If you return earlier than the time booked, full charges will still apply
Bookings made by email or telephone will only be held for one week – a deposit of £20 per week is required to secure your booking. If it becomes necessary to cancel your booking your deposit is non-refundable less than 14 days in advance of your booking. The balance of your boarding fee is payable on arrival payable from the first day booked up to and including the last day booked.
